Have you found yourself a fugitive of your own conscience which always chases you like in a night dream? Where can we run to or hide from our own conscience, nowhere really. The only way out is to surrender and face the truth which can set us free. Nonetheless, most of us and most of the time we are in constant battle, instead of admitting and submitting to the truth we tend to dig down and fight back. This arrogance then turns the table against us and it finally leads to our shameful downfall.

How does this happen? Sometimes we can think that we can hide ourselves but let me tell you, it is impossible. Do you remember your childhood favorite game, “hide and seek”! Someone is always trying to find you out there, whenever people give you a strange look, you think that is the end of it. Why such feelings? Simply because you are a fugitive, the truth from inside and people from outside are running after you. The bad think of today’s world is also that it has shrunk so much so that some have already began to call it a “village”. Where then can we hide? Yea, dammit, the whole world is full of courts and people are everywhere and I cannot live in the remote jungles, I am humane…….!

It is not like the old days where those who took advantage of their fellow citizens and run to the unknown worlds difficult to reach. Hey, it has changed. People are watching the little movements you make. You think you can hide in a little town in the US or Chile or Thailand or Zimbabwe or Finland or Saudi Arabia or Cuba? You are mistaken, how can you possibly think so. Do you honestly believe that the one who lost his loved ones to your bloody hands will sleep! People have already said “shame on you”, this is the initial human judgment. Your neighbors are disgusted by your actions, merciless and heatless crimes you inflicted on fellow neighborhood friends and innocent citizens. I promise you one day the law enforcement agents will knock on your doors on that early morning. Guess what, outside are the hungry cameras that will take your soul for the day’s headlines that shall say “Finally Dr Death arrested”, “An Eritrean killer captured”, “The cold blooded murderer was originally from Eritrea”! This will be moving around like a blazing fire and then will reach the motherland. Of course, in Tigrigna it will say “Mihlelana Tesemiu”, “Eti/Eta telam tetahizu/a” or in Arabic our newspapers will say “Ma Teqdibu al-Insan!”. It is not over yet, wait a minute this is just the beginning to the second court.

Witnesses will flow to the court to give their account of the gruesome acts you have committed. After the newspapers’ headlines your family will feel gutted to come to the court. Thus, you will feel the coldness of exclusion and face your victims in that very room that will decide your fate. In a series of proceedings the truth will come out just to tell a heartbreaking story and you will wish you were not born. Can you imagine when the judge demands your attention to tell you who you really are? Your heart is punching you from inside. He then smashes the table slamming the gates of your freedom as you have done it for many wonderful sisters, brothers, mothers, and fathers. Judgment Day II isvsuccessfully completed. Huuuufffffffff, finally justice is served and the whole town is relieved and is at peace.

Oh, guys guys some have made it, they missed Judgment Day II and they are still at large! Have they? There is nothing to worry; there is Judgment Day III, which will be absolutely perfect, no loopholes here. There is none who can avoid this one, see you there.

Until then

God bless you

Life to the living
